On the way to Biloxi, we were traveling 70 MPH and the traffic was somewhat heavy, H spotted a large piece of truck tire in our lane, could not slow down in time and could not get over due to traffic, so he went over it. We stopped so he could check the tires, no damage to the tires, but it did crack the fiberglass skirt over the right side wheels and bent the steps. No big deal, right. Today I tried to put the steps down while holding Hobbes, they stuck then gave loose hitting the top of my right hand just below the knuckles. It started to swell before I even got the door open. Put ice on it and kept it elevated. No broken bones just a large bruised swollen area.
Then our other adventure, for anyone who has seen the movie"RV", this is funny, but not to happen in real life. H went to dump the tanks at the campground yesterday, already had everything hooked up, opened the valve to the black water tank (toilet drain) and it started flowing into the sewer drain, then all of a sudden it started spewing into the air. The sewer drain was plugged. I opened the window to ask H what was going on and was confronted by an very ripe odor (yuk). The campground crew came with a snake but could not get it unplugged. The other sewer drain was too far behind us to reach with our sewer hose, so H washed down what he could with the hose and waited until this AM when we closed up to leave then backed up to the other drain. All is well that ends without poop all over.
Tonight we are in Decatur, Alabama in a city park. Very busy with spring break, but we are in an overflow area and it is very quiet. We will sleep well tonight.
