We came to the New England states to see the sites and attend the wedding of our friends' daughter. Above is Christa and Bart's Son-in-law Matt and grandson Carter.

The 2 bridesmaids above are Amanda and Laura, both younger daughters of Christa and Bart. Bart walking Nicole down the aisle. Joe and Nicole saying their vows.

Canterbury Shaker Village

Today we toured a Shaker Village near where we are staying in New Hampshire. This was originally a large privately owned farm, the owner gave it to the Shakers when he joined their group. Shakers never individually owned anything. Everything belonged to the group.

Moose

1700 lbs. moose at Len Libby Chocolates, the bear weighs in at 700 lbs.

We were in Greenville, Maine less than 24 hrs. and saw 6 moose, 7 if you count the chocolate one. We also saw 2 wild turkeys, 1 deer, and 1 rabbit.

We stayed at a B&B just outside Greenville.
Janice and Hank are the owners. We were the only guest Monday night. Busy only on weekends until late June.

This pic was taken in Kennebunkport, ME, when the tide goes out it leaves approximately 10-12 ft. of rock or wood exposed.

Time Goes So Quickly

Here it is May 14th already, so many things to do. My brother Jim is here from North Carolina, came up on Monday to attend a high school reunion this Saturday, then return home Sunday or Monday. We have tried to keep him busy. He has visited his sons who live in the area, and brothers and sisters. Today he is helping us mow. I asked H to to it yesterday while I worked, but they went to town instead, then it rained again last night so the grass was wet when I started mowing, but what can you do, we are going to Toledo this weekend.
Our countertop will hopefully be installed sometime in the next several weeks. H has already taken all the screws out of the present countertop, so it is loose, the backsplash is off and the kitchen looks awful. Oh well.
Oh, we are now landowners in Arizona, we bought a lot across from where we stayed this winter, it is setup for 2 RVs or we can build a house on it. To start we will move some of the utilities to more convenient areas then probably rent out the spaces this winter. Then next winter we will park on it.

Grandkids

We went to watch the 2 older kids in a band concert last week. Could not see them among all the other students, so thought I would just take their pics individually. Samantha is the oldest, had the giggles when I was taking pic. Matt is the youngest, top right. Doug is the middle child.
Samantha plays the clarinet and Doug plays the trumpet. As you can see in the pic Matt plays games.
