Home!

We arrived at our daughter's home yesterday, spent the night there, then came home this AM. After getting water back on, satellite dish up and connected, furnace regulated(was hoping not to have to use that when we got home), groceries bought, we have settled down to relax and watch "Survivor". Hobbes is glad to be home. He perched on top the sofa and slept the day away lucky cat! We are just glad we only had rain the last day of travel, and made it home safely after seeing 3 wrecks on the way.

Green Texas

Northeastern Texas is so green, hilly, and has lots of trees. We drove to Arkadelphia,Ark today. Hope to get to Nashville,TN tomorrow. Hobbes is getting so used to travel without the RV, he readily drinks from bowl while in the truck, even pottied outside yesterday, which is a first for him. He always has used a litter box, even waiting until he goes back inside to use litter box. He has adapted to travel so much better than I ever thought he would.

Family in Texas

We stopped in Texas to visit our niece and her family. Below Carlos, Azul, H, and Aiden. Michelle in pic below. We went to watch Aiden at a soccer game today, no score at all, many close but no goals. Both very tough teams. Azul does not have a game until April 30th, both girls are excellent soccer players. We leave in AM for home, will probably make it to Tennessee. Bye Michelle and family.

Texas

We are in Texas to visit family. All the way from Yuma it has been windy, mostly pushing us, but today it was from the north, hitting us on the side. The gusts were really bad, H had to concentrate to keep truck in our lane. Then we came 38 miles across to get to our hotel on a very twisty, hilly road. Took us forever. Glad to be in one place for the night.

Another Puzzle and Another Shed

H and Margaret finished another puzzle. Another shed going up, this one is for Lyle and Margaret. 101 degrees the day they started, Thursday. 105 Friday. they only worked until lunch time both days, then it was way too hot. Today we moved over to our lot. It was very hot, 98, and a little humid. That made for a miserable day. We are all set up, satellite and antenna up and working. Our shed moved over here and everything back in it. We will be leaving in sometime soon. Just have to get RV ready for summer months and pack the truck.
