Poipu Point

We moved from Pono Kai, in Kapa'a yesterday to Point at Poipu. Waters are calmer on south side of island.
H and I stopped at a gourmet hot dog stand to eat before we out in mud buggies on a former sugar cane plantation. I drove and hit every puddle I could find, had a blast.

Sunset in Poipu.

H was trying to catch a turtle playing in the waves with camera, I think he missed!??

Honu (Turtle)

At Poipu Beach park today, 2 Honu kept swimming in the shallow area and kept everyone running to see them. This one seemed to want to come onto beach. After getting these pics, I went into water to snorkel so I could see the Honu underwater.

Christmas Lights

We put up the outside lights yesterday, the brick wall is on the left side of our property, the gate on the right.

Lights on the patio and around the door. We decorated inside today, but considering we live in an RV, there are not many decorations, our tree is 1 ft. high.

Putting Down the Patio

H and I spent the day laying the patio, all the pavers are down, all 84, that weigh 39lbs. each. I helped level sand and carried pavers to H. He put them in place. We need more sand to pour over pavers, sweep into openings and rinse off. Was not as bad as I thought it would be.

Friends Arrived

George and Sheila from Alberta, Canada arrived Thursday, just in time for the weather cool down. It is only 66 degrees right now at 3PM It rained last night.
H helped George get his Arizona room put up, before they got it tied down the wind picked up in gusts and dust was blowing, they could barely see. At least they finished before the rain started.
The weather has been great for getting work done outside, I don't like the really hot(in the 90s) weather, which it was when we arrived.
The patio we are putting in has been started, we ordered the pavers and sand, have been working to remove gravel from the area we are doing. H is getting the proper slope in so rain will run off away from RV. Monday the supplies come, so we will be busy then. The pavers are 16" square and each weighs in at 39lbs. Fun moving those critters around.
