Fall 2010

I love the coolness of fall, but the dampness I could do without. A week and 3 days until we leave. Warm weather here we come.

Reunion and Wooleybear Festival

H's 50th high school class reunion, these are 5 of 8 class members that were together all 12 years. 103 graduated in 1960, they probably had 40 to 50 classmates return.

Griff's Birthday

Getting ready for the big blowout.


Went to the county fair, newborn lamb, could barely stand up. Baby alpaca was 4 months old.

Butterfly from cocoon H found in the garden. This is the pond at a nearby park where we walk about 4 times a week. Beautiful park in the country. Below is a bullfrog at that pond. We have counted 12, but I'm sure there are many more.

Puzzles and Sports

Elle serving in a doubles match, second day of school tennis. Griff after winning his age group for a run and bike race. Terry in the biking part of the race at Vermilion on Sunday. 5K run, 12 mile ride and 5 K run. He won his division.

Hot August Days

H and I went to pick a few peaches today, Red Havens, so I could make a pie for Saturdays family reunion.
On Tuesday I went for lunch with 2 friends from my previous job. Pam in the black and Dena in the blue. We had a long lunch with plenty of time to talk.
