Sam's Graduation

Sam graduated from 8th grade, ready for HS. They had a dance after, so she is dressed for dance. So good to see the grandkids, even for such a short time.

Cleveland Indians Game

We went to see Cleveland Indians play on Wednesday against the Red Sox. Indians forgot to show up. Awful game, only 2 runs and those were in 8th inning. Red Sox were hot. We did get to visit with old friends, Linda and Ron. I worked with Linda for many years a in Home Health. Good to see them again.
We stayed at the lake cottage the night, when we arrived a storm was coming and the tornado siren started sounding. No basement at cottage. Saw some neighbors down the street outside, asked them about basements and they invited us to wait out the storm in theirs. Thank you Jeanne for giving us a port in the storm. Lots of wind, hail, and rain (flooded the streets), but no tornado. Yeah!!!!

1930's

H finished another puzzle, the 1930's this time. It was missing one piece. If it doesn't stop raining we will have to buy some more puzzles for him. Though I have a whole "honey do" list ready for him. He has already installed new exhaust fans in all the bathrooms. He is at present sanding a lamp base for me to paint. Next is installation of a handrail for basement steps, then painting. Also we need to finish washing deck then staining it. Maybe he won't have time for puzzles.

Deer Puzzle

H finished this 750 piece puzzle in a few days. It was given to him by Wilford Mund for his birthday. Now he is working on a 1930's puzzle.

Easter Gathering

Our niece(Natalie) had Easter dinner at her house. Millie, above, was ready to eat. Maya, on the left just likes to play. Parker, Natalie's and Bill's youngest grandson, had a good time.

Home!

We arrived at our daughter's home yesterday, spent the night there, then came home this AM. After getting water back on, satellite dish up and connected, furnace regulated(was hoping not to have to use that when we got home), groceries bought, we have settled down to relax and watch "Survivor". Hobbes is glad to be home. He perched on top the sofa and slept the day away lucky cat! We are just glad we only had rain the last day of travel, and made it home safely after seeing 3 wrecks on the way.
