Back in Biloxi

This is Camp Biloxi at the end. They have 2 volunteer groups here this week, next week they start tearing down the camp. Above left is Matt with H. This is the camp we stayed in while in Biloxi on many trips to help rebuild post Katrina.
The dining tent is being cleaned out today and will come down tomorrow.

Last of the dining tent. Jan and friend.

We went to the beach this AM, was warm and sunny, but the wind was so strong we got sand facials while we sunbathed.

Some guys fishing from the pier, they had quite a few fish. The water was really choppy.

Family

We went to visit our niece Michelle and her family in Round Rock, TX on Sunday. Their daughters had soccer games at the same time. Same color uniforms, different teams. Both their teams won.

Azul is #4 and is an aggressive player, she scored most the goals for her team.

Aiden is #5, also an excellent player, she scored 4 goals for her team.

Aiden, Azul, and H putting together a princess puzzle. Carlos with the puzzlers.

Hobbes and Blue Bonnets

The desert has so many wild flowers this time of year. Yellow flowers are all over.

The Yucca is blooming as well as the Blue Bonnets in Texas. Hobbes was sniffing them.

We arrived this PM in New Braunfels, Texas and will stay here until next week. Long trek from Yuma, AZ, about 1100 miles.

Rockin'

We had an earthquake today, 7.2 located less than 100 miles southwest of us. We were both outside, H was on the ladder beside the 5th wheel when the RV started rocking from side to side, he thought someone was pushing it from side to side. I was just about ready to put some trash in the metal trash can, when it started clanging against the other can. I turned around and the truck was shaking. Kind of scary. I don't think I would want to be anywhere near a big one. It almost made me feel seasick.
We have tomorrow AM, have almost everything ready.

Yuma Airshow

The jets move so fast that it was hard to find them and focus before they were gone. We only went for a couple hours and we parked along the road, rather than go into the base.
