I have been having problems with my left foot since February, the heel hurt, then the area behind my knee started hurting, so I must have been walking to protect my heel. I have been taking lots of Ibuprofen to help with the pain. Yesterday I went to the podiatrist(foot doctor), x-ray shows I have a large heel spur with inflammation of my tendon. First they brought in all these pamphlets on freezing the nerves, surgery, and shock waves to break the spur. I opted for conservative treatment, so they put a cortisone injection in my heel. OUCH!! But I must say the foot feels better today. But I don't, I couldn't sleep last night at all, I was up and down so many times, I finally went to sofa to watch TV. Nothing on at night.
It is now AM, I still don't feel sleepy. So the 4th will be a long day.
Happy Independence Day to everyone! Don't forget to display your flag. And enjoy your cookouts.

Fishing
H went to Michigan with Bob, our brother-in-law, for a few days a couple weeks ago. They went fishing, worked on their 5th wheel, and made some game boards. Bob sent some pictures of H fishing, but I could not get them to load on my blog. So just try to picture him in a boat, fishing.
The weather has been really hot, but today is refreshingly cool, nice breeze.
H has been working part-time at his old job, doing construction inspection. Hoping to save enough money to make traveling this winter feasible. Our truck is diesel and you all know how expensive the fuel is. We are thinking we will just go to Arizona and stay the winter there, rather than drive all over the place.
We sat with 2 of our grandchildren last night, we made wild strawberry ice cream, yum-yum. H has been picking the berries, yesterday was the last of them. I made 5 batches of wild strawberry jam, which we will split with the kids. The wild ones have a sweeter taste the regular, only problem, they are very small and it takes a long time to remove the stems.

HOME!
We are now home! So glad it was sunny yesterday when we arrived. Nothing worse than setting up a camper in the cold.
We turned the water off and drained the pipes before we left last fall, so we had to turn it on again, fill the hot water heater then let water flow thru all the pipes. We have a leak from the hot water in the 1/2 bath and both toilets upstairs need seals replaced. Happy homecoming.
I started the car last night after being stored for 6 months, started on first try, but today as we drove it is running rough. H put some dry gas in, hoping it will help. Also the air conditioner doesn't put out any cold air. But the car is 10 years old and never had air conditioning problems before. So I guess it is time.
